Javi Pez y Txarly Brown deciden en 1995 crear un proyecto musical conjunto. Así se reunen: Txarly como Camping Gaz (a raiz de las voces de un flexidisc 7” promocional encontrado en el interior de un viejo libro de publicidad utilizado en sus sesiones) y Pez como Digi Random (Digi por digital y Random por el método utilizado en el sampleo de algunos sonidos, es decir: al azar).
